Anything macro regarding blade markings makes me happy, antoine. If you wanted to test some more, it wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings, I'm sure. Good job.

You need to try to set a multi point focus. Currently its a center focus. The Multi is more enjoyable to look at becosue it will loose very slight clarity but the rest of the image will be the same.

Thanks for the tips, and your encouragements,

Ola Senate, there is a little article in "La passion des couteaux" but very short about the UK Penknife and other new spyderco with a nice picture (but not the ted's pic :( )... But I think that another article about the UPK will be published in the next issue... to be continued !

Very nice shots Antoine! It's neat how the grain in the S30V makes it look like damascus.

You can't see the grain of steel without a microscope. What you're seeing there is just the marks left by the abrasives used to grind the blade.

Nice pictures!

What, no EM pics?

Nice macro. I need posts like this to see this detail with these old eyes! :)

I wonder what the edge would look like after medium, fine and ultrafine stones.
