More Spyderco in France !!

#1

Post by Chando »

It's not easy to find spyderco in France. I' ve tried to find a knife in a lot of armorers in the Lyon's area and it's a blank !
So i have just a question :
Can i order a knife online at spyderco.com and receive it in France ?
I have already order two sharperners for my only Police C07 and i receive them perfectly, but i'm afraid a knife can't pass because it's a weapon.
I'm falling in love for a Manix ( Wich in France is a Condom brand :p ) and i want one.
Thanks to help me and my apologies for bad english.

Cordialement,

Vincent

http://www.armurerie-gaglio.fr/marque_20.html

they are selling some there and the prices are quite high but now as high as if you order it from the USA and have to pay for the customs :)

wish it helps you

edit: http://www.google.fr
http://www.couteaux-center.com/
just type SPYDERCO and select Pages : France
maybe on all the pages you will find better prices and more knives choice :)

you're not alone Vincent! :)

yes you can order directly from spyderco and receive it here... knife aren't considered as weapons by customs, you can own them freely but cannot carry them... you know that ;)

envoie moi un message privé si tu veux de l'aide personnalisée :)

welcome on the forum! :)

In fact all the armorers i've asked for a spyderco can order it themselves but the price was too high ( a friend bought a Chinook by this way 230 € - 299 $).
I have calculated that with an € strong, it's cheaper to order one directly in the United States, in this case a Chinook only costs 185 $ = 142 € + shipping.

prices are very in Europe, there are all kind of taxes and the benefits of the seller... that's why I'm buying 90% of my knives in the US, the remaining 10% are the rare spydies that you might find taking dust in a forgotten shop in Paris ;)

Bonjour madame, comment t'allez vous? (watch the spelling)
Bonjour, tres bien, merci, et vous?

That's all I remember from my French class. That's why I use English, I didn't pay attention. Regret it now!

Est-ce que ce "thread" peut devenir français?
Il serait intéressant de savoir combien de nous sommes francophones...

Way back, I lived in Paris for 6 months. I still remember the street, Rue de Pasteur. In a small rooming house. To get downtown, we cut through the Invalides, my spelling is bad. but I remember it to be like an old soldiers home, and the old veterans would sit out in the sun with their berets on and their war medals pinned on their coats.

Paris is such a wonderful city, diverse, full of life. And an extremly beautiful city.

Senate, I may have missed it but do you live near Paris?

I live at 500 meters from Porte d'Orléans, south gate of Paris, subway line 4 ;)

The social revolution is now a fact. As I've discover, I'm a proteiform. The only question that remain unclear is; Who are you?
