Hi Chando,

Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

I guess we can see if we can get more distribuition in France.

I certainly do appreciate our international community.

The entire "business chain" from; raw materials, manufacturing, marketing, selling, distributing, shipping, warrantees, insurance, credit, etc. ALL EXISTS to service the ELU (End Line User). Remove the ELU from the equation and the entire business chain falls like a house of cards. We all work for you!

Hi all,

Happy to meet you !

No problems to buy at the spyderco online shop... and it's less expensive, even with shipping. You have to pay shippment (25$ if I remember) AND a taxe in France (15 Euros). It's a very good choice for buying the "discontinued" models... look at the lil'temp, and don't forget that the $ is very less expensive that Euro (very, very, very... :p ).

Bonne journée a tous,

Antoine.

Bonjour Chando,

Also check out The Toolshop in Germany. They have a good selection of Spyderco's, reasonable prices, free shipping within the EU and good service.

Salut,

Hello,

Thank you for your help.
A lot of armorers i've seen in France for knives tell me that they don't sell spydercos now because they are too expensive.
It's true that there are in France a lot of Knives of tradition ( Opinel, Nontron, Laguiole, Thiers..etc ) not expensive ( about 30 €) so they think there is no place for nice blades about 150 €.
Apparently, the great number of french here show that it's not a good reasonment!
The first knive i own was a C02 Mariner, there are 10 years ago. I lost it ( shame ), then i bought a lot of bad cheap blades ( Laguiole, for many of them ).
I was bored so i bought a Police, then a chinook. Now, i want a Manix.
I promised to never use other knives than spyderco more !

Bonjour, tres bien, merci, et vous?

That's all I remember from my French class. That's why I use English, I didn't pay attention. Regret it now!

Literally translated : It rains in my heart (for you). Normally relegated for someone whining; my younger sibling has a nasty tendency to use it on people. Normally used in a humorous, sarcastic way, generally among friends in jest.

In Quebec I more usualy ear something like:

Mon pauvre coeur pleure...

Which can be translated by:

My poor/little heart is crying...

I've always found that it has more impact.

University is almost free in Canada as long as you study in something that has some potencial. (Forget about medial history or so...)

Hi,

another interesting e-shop to buy Spyderco knives : https://www.le-couteau.com/couteaux-spyderco-c-51.html. It's possible to customize the blade by a short text. Many orders on this website and no problem, a very serious shop.
