Hello,

I noticed on the website of :spyder: , in the catalog section, that you can choose between these two steels. Is there a difference??? If yes, what is it???

 I expect there is no difference (but I could be wrong). It appears that CPMS30V relates to the Spyker - it may be that the blade is labelled as such instead of CPM-S30V.

There's no difference. It's Crucible Particle Metallurgy's S30V steel.

It is just a labelling inconsistency. There is only one S30V.

I would agree it's just a labeling thing, depends on who did it. I have seen knives come in with all the following diff. markings but the same steel:

S30V
CPMS30V
CPM-S30V
S30V-CPM
Etc etc.
