I've handled an old one and have a newer model.

The clip on the newer one is a bit smoother on the inside, so easier to retrieve from your pocket. (still very grippy)

The compression-lock 'unlock' area is a bit smaller and doesn't have ridges. I believe this was done to prevent pinching your skin

My new one is CPM-S30V, the old one CMP-440V

The G-10 was more rounded and a bit smoother on the old one, the new one is slightly rougher and a bit more squared.

Both were identical in super smooth opening and closing, with solid lock-up.

Mine is S30v, I recall a thread where Sal stated that lil temp was an evolving design IRRC, and they will tweak things each batch. Just curious what details have changed over the Temps lifespan. Cant find a way to improve mine.
