Netherlands Show ?
Netherlands Show ?
With the IWA show coming up, plans are being nailed down for the trip.
We'll be in Netherlands for a few days before the show.
Our good friend and associate, Jur was kind enough to help arrange a small meeting for a few Dutch forumites (& friends) last year.
Assuming Jur is interested , we were thinking to try to do this again. Last year's "seminar" was enjoyable.
There have been suggestions as to when, where and how, so I think some discussion would probably help.
first......Jur?
then, is anyone else interested in planning another one?
Knowing approximately how many will be attending is important for finding the best venue.
It was suggested that a venue be used where one could order food or a beer would have value. Opinions?
It was suggested that Saturday evening would be better than Sunday evening. Opinions?
I would have protos and Concepts with me. I like to travel with them which gives me an opportunity to continue to test and refine.
What, in your opinion, would help make the "Spyderco seminar" enjoyable?

-----------------------------------------------------------
The entire "business chain" from; raw materials, manufacturing, marketing, selling, distributing, shipping, warrantees, insurance, credit, etc. ALL EXISTS to service the ELU (End Line User). Remove the ELU from the equation and the entire business chain falls like a house of cards. We all work for you!

Hi Sal, Hi Guys - Yes, it's gonna happen again and I'm bussy with it. Like Sal says, Amsterdam is the easiest location do hold a second Spyderco Preview Show. First, it is easier for Sal, Gail and Eric to get to the venue while they are in Amsterdam and second, Amsterdam is easy to reach by train for all visitors.
If we start asking who wants what, we'll end up with at least 25 different locations to choose from, so ... Amsterdam is the place!
Date? Saturday March 12? - or Sunday March 13?
I believe that Sunday afternoon March 13 would be a good date and time. Say from 15.00 - 18.00 hrs (3.00 till 6.00 p.m.).
Sunday has some advantages over Saturday. Saturdays are crowded in Amsterdam. parking space is limited, many work on Saturday, fuller trains, etc.
Sunday provides more easy travel, better parking, more time and such for visiters from other EUC countries.
I already have an idea which location could work. Let me check that in the coming week, after which You all will be informed via the "Invitation" thread Ted and I made up.
So, I'll post the "Invitation" later today and all (further)info will be published there.
The Preview Show is not limited to the Dutch only! Forum friends who want to come over from Germany, UK, Belgium or France are very, very Welcome.
So far, so Good!
Watch for the "Invitation threat" and all additional info.
See you all in large numbers at Sal's party in Amsterdam.
