tell Spyderco what you want!
got some more on my chest
come to think of it, here's some more suggestions:
- SS police/endura/delica: more ergonomic (scorpius-choil?)
- SS endura/delica: aus6.....>vg10
- ATR SS/TI: tip-DOWN clip, DECENT clip, perhaps framelock instead of compression-lock? (it still bugs me, i recently bought an ATR-SS, and i want to use and like it, but instead it's collecting dust because i just can't get over the lousy clip and the fact that it is tip-up.........really too bad)
- Military: slightly smoother thumb-ridges on the spine, they're too rough
- G10-Scorpius!
ok, rant-mode off

A fantasy style wish list?
How about the Persian with cocobolo handles and tigerstriped damascus blade?
Bring back the Lum Chinese Folder with Titanium handles?
A slightly longer version of the Lum fixed blade tanto
A folding Kuhkri with a spydie hole...faboo.
But that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

Wow, that looks like it would be impossible to remove. :D Ok, I admit I'm rather prejudiced against clips, but even for those who like them, the question arises as to whether it creates a "wag the dog" situation where the rest of the knife has to be designed to accomodate the clip and if the increased mechanical complexity it adds is worth the advantages. Something tells me just locating a regular clip in a channel in the handle half the depth of the clip would increase comfort almost as much without all the added parts count.Gerard Breuker wrote:I just found out that I am neither crazy nor original in wanting a disappearing clip. In a link at BF about the recent SHOT I found
The Boker Clip ($140), a new folder from Boker with a clip that retracts flush into the handle when the blade is opened.
