Wow, that looks like it would be impossible to remove. Ok, I admit I'm rather prejudiced against clips, but even for those who like them, the question arises as to whether it creates a "wag the dog" situation where the rest of the knife has to be designed to accomodate the clip and if the increased mechanical complexity it adds is worth the advantages.
