Strange gray stains...

#1

Post by BigWig »

A strange dark stain has developed around the Round Hole of my AUS-10 Native blade. Does anybody know what I can use to get it off? I've tried Super Lube with PTFE with no luck.

Hi BigWig! Welcome aboard the Spyderco Forums! Dabbing a bit of metal polish might help remove those unsightly stains... <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Before I forget, I'm a very satisfied owner of three new Spyderco's and clearly these knives are of great workmanship. Thank you Spyderco!

I would try some Mothers or Flitz metal polish... The mothers is the stronger of the two, just work it in until it turns black and wipe the rest off...
