Well I don't think my wife bought me any Spyderco's, but I did buy/trade for two. I just got a old CPM440V Military(with a 2 screw clip??), and I traded for a full size, PE, Micarta Calypso. :)
I also have a custom knife coming. A small tanto("Asian Dubh" model) made by Michael Burch(you can see a few of his knives at http://www.tadgear.com ).
:D
So it will be a sharp Christmas for me!!

Hello, all - I recently discovered this forum, and based on reading some of the older posts, decided to add a Calypso Jr. Gray FRN to my small (but growing!) collection. I just ordered it this evening, so if it arrives by Christmas, it will be a nice present.

Welcome to the forum Lockback. You made a good choice with the Calypso Jr. FRN. I like mine maybe a little too much? I'll probably wear it out opening and closing it if that's possible to do? Lots of fun and keeps me out of trouble.

Welcome to the :spyder: Forum. The Calypso Jr. is one of the most popular
spydies among the Forumites here.

I even consider the Calypso jr. to be sort of a token for forum-membership.

Welcome!

OutofGum,

Just got an email letting me know my gray Calypso Jr should be here on Wednesday (isn't UPS tracking a wonderful thing?). We can compare notes when you get yours. :) I'm looking forward to mine, as well.

I am still hoping to get my Navigator SE and my Endura PE before Christmas. The waiting is the worst part. USPS has tracking service but until the knife is delivered, it just shows that the knife is in the mail-somewhere? UPS is much better. They show it where it is although they always seem to ship it to the fartherest place from me and then back again? Some of my knives have traveled more than I have. I should ship myself to myself and I'd get to see all 50 states on one trip.

Native Arrived - Christmas Came Early

Ta,

Wonderful knife. As anticipated, accessing the :spyder: hole with gloved hands is a bit rough, but otherwise it is an exceptional blade, currently riding in my waistband just above the Harpy.

My Lady has requested a Dodo in blue for a belated Christmas present, and I simply *have* to get the Szabofly when available. I see more :spyder: knives in my not-too-distant future...

Have a wonderful holiday season, everyone.

Ta,
