Sorry to hear that. I can sympathize. I lost a Simonich Cetan about 5 years ago and it still hurts. It was there when I started my walk through the woods and not there when I got back to my apartment. Looked for it for days.

Sorry to hear about your loss. The only <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I have lost so far was a well-used, 8-year old delica. How were you carrying the Ronin?

Mark.

was carrying iwb/rear in a normark rig... figure my jacket picked it off the belt as it has before(lost it a few times in my car, just with these pants though).

only reason it hurts so much is the pile I traded for it back in febuary.
Forum 'hawk, Forum native 3, Calypso jr lt PE(black), and a salsa...

looked for about 20min in the car and house made sure I didn't drop it somewhere else. Had just sharpened it before leaving the house too.

Ah well, if you hear a story in the news up here of someone finding a lightsabre, it was just my ronin with a sweet edge on it.

My count so far: 1st vnox SAK(age 7-8), brand new(day before) 50/50 black ladybug(grade 12, running up stairs for my marks, hole in the pocket...), the ronin last night... and for "placed" knives: gerber gator folding hunter(drop point), and a cheap $20 multi.

not bad to have only lost 3 and placed 2 in 15yrs of knives.

These Ronin's sure can carry an edge. I think it's the easiest knife to sharpen out of all the others I own. I carry my Ronin IWB/right-rear quite a bit, too. I have ran a piece of parachute cord through one of the holes in the sheath in a loop that I can run my belt through. It has flipped out a couple of times while using the RR but it dangles from my belt until I put it back. it doesn't take long to notice it dangling. It also keeps it from sliding around or down into my trousers. I'll try to post a pic later. I sure hope yours shows up.

Sorry for your loss--that's a terrible feeling. As for the cord attach to the belt. Do you ever get cut? I can imagine it, "...OUCH! Found it, get me a pressure dressing"!

Hey vamp that also sux about the knife, I just ended a 3 day search for my SPOT with a successful find in the drawer it is always in when not in use. It was under a "TV Guide", those things are really conciliable!
