Who would buy one of these ???

consider this: a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> with tools.

endura blade.

multitool (bottle opener/cn opener).

scissors (like a SAK).

metal reversable pocket clip.

FRN handle.

this would be the IDEAL knife for me. fast opening and the tools i need everyday. i

need scissors all the time during the day and it is lots easier to use a bottle opener on some beers. i could ALWAYS carryit with the clip (unlike my SAK that is nearby but not at-hand).

What do you think ?

thanks ! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

That sounds good,
But what would be silly would be a CF handled, Ti blades folding bottle opener with a clip! It could be called the CFTiBeer. Man I love BEER.

I have used my Endura as a can opener, but have never opened a bottle with it. I imagine if the opening hole was bigger, you could use it to open a bottle. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

For a fun bottle opener, there's always <a href="http://www.cgrtech.com/bottlefly/" target=blank>THIS</a>...

How about a SpyderFly version?? <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

In all seriousness, though, I would like to see Spyderco do a multi-tool that's a little less hardcore than the SpyderRench. I agree with pjhead's suggestion -- something like a basic SAK but with a higher performance blade with a SpyderHole and of course, a clip. I'm a sucker for the teeny little tweezers, too, although it would be nice to have some portable tweezers that are a little more robust than the typical SAK ones...

What about this one? The wave feature can be used as a bottle opener as well <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

pjhead,

I don't think that I would buy one unless it had dyad blades. That might allow me to carry it with my <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>rench in the other pocket<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

Sal, how about it ? i'm sure there would be enough interest to justify trying it, it would replace my SAK and alot of other peoples too...<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
