Important? I can't get by a day without them sharperners, lubes, stain removers, fine grit abrasives, -pouches, -pacs.. What is your take? Are they important in maintaining your interest?

I find sharpeners/abrasives to be important and have mineral oil as a food-friendly rust inhibitor. Without sharpening equipment, I doubt knives would hold my interest.

Sharpmaker, waterstones, mineral oil for blade and 5-W50 synth. oil (its what I use for my bearings as well) for the pivot (going to try militec some day) is what I need to keep me happy ;-).
