Ramrod have come through

#1

Post by Alain Smith »

Since I posted to tell everyone how pissed off I was with Ramrod, Id better write to tell everyone they did sort out my knife. Spyderco USA got through to them after I wrote to them and theyve replaced my knife. I picked it up on Friday. They replaced it with a Chinook 2 which though it was not originally what I wanted I now see it as an upgrade. It is a far more practical knife, though I prefered the look of the Chinook 1. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

A big thanks to Everyone at Spyderco

Good to hear, Alain! I see it as a big liability for Spyderco when they basically have just one distributor serving a particular area. That being the case, I'm sure they always want to know whether or not the company in question is upholding their standards. I'm sure Spyderco appreciates it when ELU's like yourself speak up rather than give up!

Ramrod has always been an excellent distributor. I'm glad to hear things worked out.

Good to hear Allen

I used to get my stuff from RamRod after Pertinax was sold, after dealing with Ram after that with the massive expense one must put out for a knife you can buy in the USA for literelly one third of the cost, plus a few problems they gave me, I vowed never to go through them again, and I never ever will.

Gideon from Pertinax is back up and running Im glad to say with a new business.
He is a great supplier to go through and always gets the job done.

Cheers
