Hi Chad,

If you mean the 2nd gen Herbst, aluminum handles, no blue detail, made in Japan, I think I'd pass. If you mean a "second" with the notch cut in the blade... no way!!!

The solid Q is pretty unique. Probably $120+ on ebay. I've seen the non-German Herbst go for $79. The second is just that. 45 bucks at best.

I wouldn't .... The Herbst 2nd's sold not that long ago from the SFO for $35 or $40. Put your knife on Ebay. A solid brings big bucks ...

Mahalo guys,

This is a "German" titanium second. W/ the blue on the scales. It's just that a good friend of mine was interested in it, and well, sometimes, they get the best of me!

Thanks! BTW-Swede, did ya ever get my e?

Chad, I'd have to agree with Swede and Stevie Ray. I've got one of the aluminum Herbsts, and even though it is a much "better" knife than any Q, neither it nor the ti handled notched seconds are worth the kind of money even the most common Q's are bringing these days.
