To all:

To give Denver-area folks (and anyone else who chooses to travel here) a shot at MBC training this summer, Michael Janich has added an MBC Level 1-2 course to the training schedule. This two-day program will be conducted on 12-13 June 2004 at Rangeview High School, 17599 E. Iliff Ave., Aurora, CO 80013. Tuition is $150.00 for Level 1 only (includes a Spyderco MBC training knife and an armguard, together a, $85.00 value) and $225.00 for Levels 1 and 2. Each day consists of an 8-hour block of hands-on instruction in all the fundamental skills, reflex training drills, and defensive applications associated with MBC Levels 1 and 2. To register, please contact Michael Janich at 303-995-8848. Enrollment is limited.

Hope to see you there.

For information on other MBC training events, please consult my web site www.martialbladecraft.com. Please disregard all course listings on the Spyderco web site as all training at the Spyderco headquarters facility has been postponed indefinitely.

Stay safe,

To all:

Now that you've seen the press release regarding BlackHawk, MOD, and me, you should know that my June MBC classes in Colorado will be the last Martial Blade Craft courses I will teach under the auspices of Spyderco. If you want to get in on the end of an era, this is your last chance.

Stay safe,

Michael:
As a fellow MBCer..and agreat believer in the Janich Method..let me say that under your guidance MBC moved forward with a "BAM" as (Emiril would say of course!)..You added the spice, the life, the energy to make it work..
I'm sorry that the support system was lacking to allow your fine teaching and instructional guidance to continue @ Spyderco...and our ( yours and mine) MBC program.

I highly reccomend that if any of you want to say you trained with Mike while he was /is the driving force in SPYDERCO MBC..do it now!
And I suggest you do it RIGHT NOW..
History is before all of you. There is no second chance..no going back..

You guys & gals can of course train with Mike in other venues but it would be special to honor Mike with a full class @ his last presentation to MBC..

This is a chance to train with one of the best there is and give him the respect he deserves..

be safe my friend..
Best wishes and good luck with MOD

Bram

Dear Bram:

Thanks for the kind words and the support. I look forward to making this last Martial Blade Craft event a great one and then setting my sights even higher for the future.

It was great seeing you at Blade and having the chance to "compare notes." Keep up the great work on your end and, again, thanks for being in my corner.

Stay safe,

mike j
