Off Topic Feedback on THE Wallets?

#1

Post by Kaizer »

Hi folks,

Well i wanted some feedback from you regarding it. If you're using one or know friends or relatives who use one i'd specifically like to know:

1] Is the wallet waterproof / water resistant / water repellant?

2] How do you carry it? Back pocket, on the Belt or around the neck?

3] Is it durable? Specifically does it catch scuff marks after repeated insertions/removals from the pocket.

4] How are the Zippers? Do they become unusable after say 2 years?

5] Any Issues with fading of colour in harsh sinlight?

Any other specific problems you encountered with it would be appreciated.

I'm currently eyeing the THE Wallet (thanks Ted for the website!) in Tan colour.

Thanks in advance

Kaizer.

I have seen one.I like it except for its size.I always carry in my rear left pocket and I have some paints the it would not fit in.

I've carried one for over two years and it still looks new, except for a little curling at the corners. Zippers are perfect. It fits snugly in my left back pocket, but I like that because if it is hard for me to get out, I don't have to worry about pickpockets. If this one ever wears out (I think it will out last me) I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Just my $.02.

I've carried mine for at least the past 3 years...Maybe longer. I carry mine in the back pocket of my Levi 550's, where it fits perfectly.

I DID have a problem with one of the zippers binding (the one where I hide my "mad money" from my wife), but Spec-Ops replaced the wallet pronto, with no problems since then.
