OT: how do you carry your SAK ?

#1

Post by pjhead »

a lot of SAK's out there i'm sure...which/how do carry yours, since they don't offer clips like our favorite knives <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

i'm going back to a smaller model for pocket carry.

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.

In addtion to a couple of <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s I carry a Victorinox Soldier. It has the thinner Alox scales which makes it easy to carry in a pocket.

When I do carry my Rucksack it usually goes in a cargo pocket or front left pocket. Take Care!!!
Just realized I have like 8 SAK's, jez hope those aren't going to start being collected now too.

Either in a belt pouch or in watch pocket w/a carbiner clipped to the nearest belt loop.

Oh,plus there's always a Minichamp on my keychain.

Almost forgot;Wenger makes a couple models that have a folding carbiner built in. I occationally carry one called the Zermatt that has this.

I still have the SwissChamp my parents gave me for Christmas when I was 10(my first pocket knife ever). I don't realy carry it anymore because it means a lot to me but then, I would just put it in my right front pocket and that did it. I bought the same one a few years ago that I'll give to my son when he's 10 (Nobody is pregnant yet but someday I guess!) and it came with a leather pouch, so I guess it would be the best way to carry one, since it's a bit heavy. That thread brings back a lot of memory...

<b>Whaaaaa?????</b> <img src="http://community.the-underdogs.org/smiley/misc/eek.gif">

Ohhhhhh! Swiss Army Knife! For a minute I thought that was one heck of a personal question especially for this heah fambly type forum......

All the other Javas have SAKs with mnulitple blades. The only SAK I ever carry is a single blade sailor's SAK with brass bolsters and liners that Vox sent me. She sits in one of those nylon sheaths attached to my belt - right next to the Gerber 600 that I sub for a SAK.
