Congratulations 4 s ter!
If you buy him a nice Spydie now, it might be a collectors item when he's older.

Thanks for all the kind wishes!

I'm thinking about a SS model so it can be engraved - but that still leaves a wide choice....from the Jester to the Police.

I'm leaning toward either the SS Kiwi (which I don't have) or the SS Dragonfly (which I do have). Have to see what I can get ahold of.

How about a bone Kiwi, his birth date engraved on one bolster and his name on the other.Reverse side could be Happy birthday on one bolster and from Grand Pa on the other.

Congratulations. There's nothing like children
What about an SS Cricket as his first knife? Great little knife and quite suitable for a starter.

How about getting little Evan a Salt 1?...That way, if he has it clipped to his diaper and he pees himself (drenching his diaper), the knife won't rust.
