I sent in my MeerKat for clip replacement on March 1, and it arrived in Golden on March 4. I sent email to Mike, asking for a shipping number when it comes back to me (because UPS invariably delivers to a neighbor's house; they're in Florida for the winter). In the past, my knives have come back within a couple weeks, but I haven't heard anything yet.
Does anyone know if this a busy time at Spyderco? It is a time of year when people go on vacation - so if things are taking longer, that's fine. I'm just wondering how long repairs seem to be taking these days...?
turn around time for service?
My Lil' Temp was received March 1st and isn't back yet (stripped the one clip screw, trying to mount clip for tip up). I would guess, its because of the knive shows that a good number of employees of Spyderco go to?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: 'Wow! What a ride!'

I have a package with three knifes that my wife mistakenly shipped without getting some sort of tracking number. It was sent on 3/9/04 so I've been calling Mike in the warranty and service department to find out if it every arrived. He was telling me that he had about two weeks worth of packages that he was still entering into the system, so it's seems they're a little backed up right now. I hope this information helps you, Mike is really a good guy, it just seems they're a little busy right now.
