I know exactly the episode you are talking about. Unfortunately, it is a Gerber EZ Out that he was using.

Spyderco Endura SE

I was recently watching a collection of the TV Show "Forensic Files" and in the episode "Pinned by the Evidence" a full serrated Spyderco Endura was shown in this case, when in a conflict between 2 man ended while one used the Endura in SD! "And unfortunately it took one stab only to severe the aorta artery in the chest of the opponent who got killed."

The knife is shown repeatedly in the show and the outcome of the episode was quite unexpected!!!

Ok, so this isn't really a movie, but I do see a Spyderco trainer being used in Hock Hochheim's new Knife/Counter-Knife Combatives book. Fun to see Spydies in educational material of all sorts.

It's an Endura 4 trainer w/ the Emerson Wave on page 37, as part of a chapter that covers various methods of rapid blade deployment.

This is the book. http://www.hockscqc.com/shop/product391.html

I dunno if its been mentioned (if so I missed it/sorry) but the show Auction Hunters on Spike about two guys that win Storage Unit Auctions, the larger guy "Tonn" carries a C79OR Assist clipped to to pocket strangely outside (clip inside the pocket). Even breaks it at the pivot in one episode using it as a prybar (somekinda briefcase lock I believe). The way he carries it and its bright orange color, makes it look like product placement but I know very little about such things.

That would have to be a Tasman or Spyderhawk depending on the size.

Just watched Sanctum with my kids who are Spydie nuts like me. We're all cavers too.
The movie is actually about cave diving. It is used when the character gets her hair caught in her rappell rack. (I know people who this has actually happened to. Not fun!) She is told multiple times not to deploy her knife to cut herself free. she doesn't listen. No more spoilers. We can't quite make out the model. It has a partial serration and looks like stainless scales. Joyce? Anybody?

Just saw something on 9gag: http://9gag.com/gag/4656967
Seems like 2 customized Crickets to me, with titanium! Probably still just VG-10.

It's from the movie called 'Superhero movie' from 2008. Here's the scene on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eis7U7BTgj0
