Awright. Who's voting in 04' & for who(m)?

I'm for Kerry ; although I'm starting

to get despondent in that every "choice"

Give me a candidate worth voting for.

Kerry is in bed with Diane Feinstein and the other anti-gun minority who believe that all Americans should be stripped of every weapon without recourse or appeal.

Bush is... well, Bush.

Not much of a **** choice.

As much as I admire Sen. Kerry's military service, and like him as a person. I personaly couldn't vote for a political party that considers racist and anti-semitic Al Sharpton a viable mainstream politician.

ABB (anybody but Bush); so Kerry. And I find much to admire and respect in Kerry.

The only thing Bush has done that I can endorse was the move into Afghanistan. We made a difference there, combined with the anti-Taliban forces already in play. A bold move, and we got lucky. Unfortunately, we have not made the most of it.

Bottom line on Bush for me is that he is not an effective leader in the war on terrorists, and on the domestic issues he is only out to serve his rich friends.

But no matter what, we have to support our troops.

Voting for Bush again, Kerry is Ted Kennedy's lap dog and we all know who will run the country if he's elected.
I promise his 1st move if elected would be to attack the NRA.
He wouldn't even answer a simple question in the debate earlier this year in Greenville on gun control.
When asked about it he side stepped the question and went into a long boring rebutal of a question asked John Edwards earlier on the Bush tax cuts.
So if you don't mind waiting forever on a back ground check by the FBI to buy any firearm AND the end to gun and knife shows by all means vote for Kerry.
Bush has gotten a bad rap lately from the press for things that REALLY happened on "billy boys" watch about 911.
And can anyone doubt the world is better off w/o saddam in power?
I think we did the right thing in Iraq, especially after clinton allowed the UN inspectors kicked out w/o much of a fight.
Mind you that I will most likely soon have a son in Iraq.
Money isn't everything and the deficit is really all Kerry's harping on.
Where does he stand on homeland defense?
What are his morals?
What would he do about getting our troops home?
I've watched the debates and I haven't seen his clear cut answer to any of those questions.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect that, this is just MY opinion and you asked Allen <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>... Ron

ABSOLUTLY BUSH
I don't want the Whitehouse and all of are high tech "secrets" sold off to the highest bidder. I also don't want a president that is going to change his mind every day on just about every important topic. And I like guns and knives and the ability to buy them!

Bush. No doubt about it. The man does what he thinks is right, like it or not. That I can respect, even if I disagree here or there.

Kerry's another focus-group driven guy with no positions of his own. If he thinks you want to hear "blue" he'll say blue. If the next town wants "red" it's red, and he never said "blue." -No thanks.

I am proud of Bush for what he did in the wake of 9/11 and taking out some very evil people with a lot of power, Euday, Eusay and Saddam. Kerry is a weak, pacifist, womanizer, who will kow tow to every threat to the US. Im for Bush.

Ron -

If Kerry attacks the NRA they can always
shoot him! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Frankly, I don't see much in the way of
choices ; shrub's blundering in Iraq
( and the "intelligence community's" FU
regards WMD ) is gonna cost us PLENTY in
the WCO.

BTW : Anyone catch "60 minutes" last week?
The Iraqi informants we had in Sadaam's camp
did the usual informant thing : told us what
we wanted to hear ( not all of it factual<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>)

I'm also not a big fan of Diane Feinstein &
her wanting to regulate the SEC. See that's
what we have the U.S. Senate & Congress for ; If Kerry got outta line, sick the senate & congress on'im!

Wonder if Dick Cheney'll ever leave Iron
Mountain!?! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I agree with ya Allen, not much to choose from really, I think Dubya could be stronger on domestic issues, I think he did a decent job overall given what happened on 9/11.
I think the CIA let us all down about WMDS, but the jury IMO is still out on that.
Saddam had a whole lot of time to hide things well and that desert is a big backyard.
But I'm just not sure how Kerry would react to a future attack, (which I pray I'm wrong} but in reality it's coming.
I do think the media skews our views about what is going on in Iraq by showing only the bad things and virtualy none of the good we're doing.
Just this morning on CNN the news that a hotel (soft target) was bombed, I just don't understand what purpose this serves besides causing chaos to normal Iraqi citizens.
How about a Bush/Powell ticket? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> now that would work for me!
A pat on the back for my Democratic friend <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Ron

Ron/sc_rebel1957 -

The hotel bombing was INTENTIONAL, made to
cause chaos amongst Iraqi citizens ( and make the military's job HARDER! )

Sadly for us, it's working for THEM!!! <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I don't see this occupation of Iraq coming
to any good, anytime soon.

Anyone remember how Viet Nam started?

It is widely speculated that Hillary Clinton will be Kerry's running mate. If this develops I will be considerably more forgiving of errors GWB has made, if any.

Bush, for lack of a better candidate.

AET,
The only blunder I see that has been made in Iraq is when we don't level a town each time the coward kill one of our soldiers.

Iraq was the dominat military power in the region. Our military did them in so fast it was almost embarassing.

My son will be headed over there in a few months. I wish this Country would take care of threats, then walk away. I don't know of any Nation in recorded history that defeats an enemy then rebuilds them like we do.

That and all of the "police" actions we are wasting our soldiers and resources in. We need to knock that off and let the involved regions deal with it.

Well I think I just might reply to this one. Though mind you I have spent more than six months off and on in South Africa with MaNcEr so my take on all this is a bit iffy. I am not fond of Bush. Though I support his actions after 9-11. I know NOTHING about Kerry. I will say this. Let us at least vote for the person who will do the least amount of damage. As a tax-paying, law-abidding citizen, I WOULD like someone in office who doesn't just install Homeland Security at the offices of Immigration and stir major problems for an already overburdened system that doesn't work anymore since 9-11 aka Immigration. You would not believe what we are having to go through to get MaNcEr into the states the Legit way thanks to overreactions and those freaks who break the law. Okay okay..I vented about that enough.

What really worries me is a political party that will try to take away our rights to bear arms and protect ourselves. Should the day come that we are ..God forbid invaded...I wanna be able to defend what is mine and my family. So from what I hear from you guyz ..Kerry is OUT...and Bush..yeah well Okay if I have to say..it is in. Though I still think he is too reminisent of Teddy Roosevelt. Only this time the bully doesn't speak quietly as he clubs you to death. Perhaps he is the man of the day though, as times are not the same are they now?

As for vietnam...I just got done studying that in American Civilizations and I can promise you we are already there again.

And that as they say is MY two bits worth <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

The truth of the matter is that +/-40% will vote Republican and +/- 40% will vote Democrat no matter what.

Its the +/-20% "independents" that will make the difference.

Hopefully not all of these "independents" will make their decisions solely based on what they hear in the so-called "news" from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, the LA Times, etc. for all they will hear is Bush bashing, and what they will not see is anything that makes their favored candidate look bad. Too often that which passes for "news" in the partisan media is actually propaganda. Some is subtle, some is not...

Read the paper, listen to ABC news, watch CNN, but also check out newsmax.com, aim.org, and others for a little balance on the plate. To not do so is playing ostrich,

Bush is getting my vote.

I think that Kerry is a pawn for the Democratic party...a sure loss for them in the '04 election against Bush...so that hillary can run in '08.
