GUNTING

Bram / Sal

the 2004 spyderco catalogue states that the Gunting has been improved. Was there just a change of steel to S30V or was there also some tweaks to the compression lock design to further increase its strength (not that it needs it, since I have tried numerous times to make the lock on the trainer fail, without success.)

If I recall correctly, the new Gunting has a regular pivot, not the adjustable 12 sided eccentric one.

Eric-
I posted a mini review on BF, somewhere. In addition to the pivot, The new G-10 is way grippier, the ramp and horns are wicked, it's just minor tweaks, but put together, it's a great improvement over the old one. But, I'm just a Guntaholic..lol
