Anyone here who has experience dealing with johnfjensen?

I was thinking about ordering from them and the fact that they don't have online ordering made me cautious. You have to send the order and credit card info by e-mail.

Any input welcome, thanks!

I have bought repeatedly from John. He is honest, knowlegable and responsive. I think he'll take anything back if you're not pleased. Everything I bought has been as described.

silverback,
I just completed another order with John (Arrived Monday). He will clarify his stock too if you have any question about it. I use email for everthing except the card number. I called and gave it to him. He has many of those discontinued ones that people are trying to find. I'm waiting for him to uncover some gem in his inventory

silverback,
I just looked again at your profile. I'm not sure if John ships to Europe. If not let me know. There is a way that I've been using for a while and it works pretty good.
I have a good European reference.

I've bought from him and had a highly satisfactory experience. His website indicates that he can only retail discontinued Spydies to the public--which is just fine since it's a source for hard to find items. I think all other brands are sold without this restriction.

I have placed one order with him. Went flawlessly.

NOTE: I wouldn't email my CC number anywhere.
It's not about trusting the person you're buying from, it's about info being in the open on your server, in transit, and at his server.

Just call him.

John is good folks!

Have ordered several times from him. I don't know about the Europe thing but I have bought items for others and shipped to Europe. Your country's knife laws come in to play here and John may not want the entanglement and legal issues. Many of us Forumites would be happy to help a fellow Spydebro out.

He has lots of good stuff on the site but AFAIK he does not ship outside the states.

Thanks a lot, folks.
But, as ramlanrafie found out, he doesn't ship outside US.
Regarding the offer of helping out, java, I'm sure the holics help each other out, but that's not worth the bother of ordering one item.
I'll just order a CF Police somewhere else.
Thanks everyone!

Thanks to each of you for the kind words.

Yes, we tried shipping outside the USA and encountered too many problems so we stopped. There are dealers who buy from us and ship outside the USA. If interested, please email me for a name, email and/or telephone number. However, it will probably save you money to take advantage of the offers to help mentioned above.

Yes, our web site is up to date. In fact I just reduced pricing on our Titanium coated Spyderco knives. There are a few left.

Yes, if anyone is ever not satisfied with anything purchased from us we gladly give a refund. We are here to help you!

Yes, we investigated purchasing on our web site but found our volume does not support the cost and we have better control if there are no middle persons. Thus, we take orders via email or the telephone.

Again, we appreciate your support as it says we are doing something right. And, we encourage your comments on how we can improve your satisfaction.

You will never have to be concerned purchasing from us - your satisfaction is guaranteed!

Wow John. When you said reduce your prices on those Ti ones you weren't kidding. Was that another 20% or so
Is just the blade coated on those or the whole knife? Plus adding the total quantity certainly helps knowing how many were made.
