Pivot Pins on SS Models

I noticed the other day that I can hardly find the pivot pins when looking at the SS handle of my Dragonfly. However, when looking at the SS handle on my Endura the pivot pins are very easy to spot. They fit flush but are just easy to see. Is this purely cosmetic or could this effect the knive loosening up. My gut tells me it is cosmetic but I figured I would put the question out there and see what comes back.

A little of both mostly cosmetic but check and see if you have side to side play.
