I always like looking at this exclusive. Part of what excites me about some G10 models in the future with the Caly Line-up for some locking versions.

Also, I may or may not have seen a 3.5" version of this exact knife.

I feel like the UKPK is one of the most underrated knives out there. Many people pass it up because of the lack of a lock. For the size of the knife you get a lot of cutting edge and amazing ergos!

i've wanted one for a while, but i've been waiting for the right one to stock. i was going to get lc200n until i saw it's coming in magnacut. now it's coming in spy27 too and it's going to be real hard to choose.

Not in my pocket all day, but the Endela in 20CV has been the model I come home to in the evening. Helping me with some steaks tonight. Simple and effective.

It’s Wharncliffe Wednesday, let the battles begin ⚔️
Salty, have you developed a favorite between those two?
Hi Jeff, I put the Salt 2’s thru a little test today (nothing too harsh) but I did bare down on em’ pretty hard…here’s my thoughts:

They are both incredible knives in their own right but in different ways…the lc is a little bit lighter (1.85 lc/2.0 H1)…of course you know ffg lc/hg H1…the lc is a better slicer while the H1 is better at hard use.

Items cut that the lc was superior on:
Newspaper
Cardboard
Tomatoes
Grapes

Tasks that H1 was superior on:
Feather sticks
Bark stripping
Pull cuts to separate 1” privet limbs from trunk
3/4” dbl braid rope (couldn’t tell a difference on 1/2” tho)

The serrations seemed to be shallower on the lc and the scallops looked wider on the H1

H1 had factory edge/lc has been sharpened 3 or 4 times in the last 6 mos? or whenever I got it

Both knives are surprisingly fidgety

I think the H1 would be better at SD

I really like them both, but in different ways so I’m gonna switch up and start carrying the H1 everyday like I have been doing with the lc and will let you know if I prefer one over the other because as of right now idk 🤷‍♂️

The spine is thicker toward the tip on the H1 because of the hg

Thanks for taking the time to do that Salty! I think the true test will be after you have had both in pocket for some time which one tends to get the nod. Thanks again!
