I think this knife is going to finish off the Ladybug for me. I like the looks and I know I like the feel.

Hi Doc,

I carry one every day. It's my "use in public" knife.

That looks like a useful blade shape! A leaf but almost a wharnie...

The previous upswept tip did not appeal to me. I'll grab one of these in SE and hopefully one in K390 PE soon!

Sal, PE or SE?

Plain, haven't gotten one with teeth yet, but I will and it will get a lot of use.

Great, I might as well just see if I can get a job at Spyderco and get paid in knives 😉

I just ordered one. The appearance of the ability to more easily open one handed may be a big plus for me. I carry a dragonfly pretty much every day this time of year, and this manbug style may give it some fierce competition.

I’ve been asking for an orange Manbug for years now and Sal’s response was it would happen if Jeff at the Cutlery Shoppe commissioned it, which really stinks as I’m sure it’s low in his priority list. I’m not a fan of orange being the sole purview of CS now, given how other orange FRN knives were previously made out of Seki with no problem.

I still can’t get CS to offer an orange G10 Native 5 either, when I asked Jeff about it he thought they had already made one (which I gently corrected him on).

I'm with you on the orange. I wish it was a regular part of the lineup, or Salt lineup. The bright orange SpyderHawk Sprint looked great, and I also like the more muted burnt orange.

I'll add that the orange FRN Dragonfly 2 is a part of regular production as well. Justice for orange!

I use my ManBug Salt H-1 Sheepfoot SpyderEdge all the time. Wish Spyderco offered a ManBug Salt Wharncliffe SpyderEdge kind of like my Salt 2 LC200N Wharncliffe SpyderEdge but smaller and without a clip to carry on a keychain.

I love yellow but I REALLY love orange!!! That sprint run Spyderhawk in orange was discontinued before I got into REAL knives unfortunately because I would have definitely purchased one (looks like a Tasman on steroids)…I have seen it before on the forum but I just looked it up and it’s DOPE!!! A Manbug Salt in orange would be automatic for me, but I’ll get anyway.
