Converted to Spyderco blade shape

#1

Post by GeneH »

I'm really happy with the latest Mule - that pointy blade is actually very useful ... at least if I could stop poking myself with it ... It's like an x-acto knife on steroids. My experience since '68 is not-so-pointy hunting blades, various drop point folders, and heavy camp knives. I never had any doubts about Spyderco blade quality, it was just the blade and handle shape that held me back.

Shout-out to Spyderco. There are more of them in my near future.

Yeah, it took a while for me too back in the day. The more you use them, the more you’ll appreciate them.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Take a look at the Spyderco Native Chief.

One big arc. Good for penetration, slashing and cutting a beef sandwich if that is your thing..

Yeah, the Native Chief looks like a nice long slicer.
