I like this one, as well. I have not tried spy27, yet. Look forward to doing so.

I am glad to see this.

Are they going to make it to the UK?

UKPK has been getting some heavy-hitter steels over the years: S110V, LC200N, Magnacut and now SPY27. Hoping the trend continues -- it's a great little knife!

Looking forward to this one.

Still waiting for the Magnacut one, so I don't really see the need for this one.

Excited to see this one coming regarding people on the fence about SPY27, or simply curious, as this will be the cheapest folder for the steel. More SPY27 into more hands is always nice to see, and if anyone doesn't have a UKPK yet, if it works like it did for me, it'll bring an appreciation for the entire Caly line and thus, more people asking for Caly re-issues and updates and so on and so forth.

All good news here. I will be getting one! Hope it's out quick!

I’m very curious to try out spy27, partly because vg10 is basically my current favorite edc steel and have found it really serves me very well (all of my favorite models also happen to have vg10 as their standard model). Make a Caly out of some then I’ll come running

The UKPK is a really nice and lightweight pocket knife. I have one in my pocket, now. It is a little longer than I'd prefer for that role, but I can live with that. The knife opens and closes without a lot of effort but there is enough tension from the spring to keep the knife closed or open. I like the lightweight flow through design and the blade is pretty thin and it is thin behind the edge enough so that it cuts well. We are fortunate that Magnacut and SPY27 are going to be options.

It will be the most affordable way to get a taste of SPY27, with a usable 3 inch blade size. 👍

It could and should be thinner bte. My K390 Urban is the golden standard… at least for me. Some people are satisfied with 0.020” bte, I am not. I sharpened the K390 at 15 dps an it’s 0.017” bte.

Well, the K390 Urban was a fluke (a good one). And I think you thinned yours out a bit. I agree that it is a wonderful knife and I enjoy mine. The UKPK is a good knife, slightly larger than I like for a pocket knife, but the action is far better than any Urban and it is lighter in weight. The blade is thin and it is okay at the edge.

My SE LC200N UKPK has really grown on me, to the point it has become one of my favorite pocketknives. I don't know if I would buy a SPY27 version, but I sure would like a PE Magnacut UKPK Salt. If I ever decide to start buying knives again.
