Spyderco Toe Knife?

#1

Post by Mushroom »

I really want a Toe Knife from Spyderco, anyone else?

Last weekend I was visiting my friend, Frank Reynolds, in Philadelphia and he introduced me to what he called a “Toe Knife.” It was a really awesome concept, I think he invented it himself.

He used it as a personal hygiene tool, primarily for cleaning under his toe nails and cutting them when needed. Unfortunately, he was just using an old steak knife and it wasn’t exactly ideal for the job so he botched his toe up pretty bad while I was there. Had to plug the wound with a candy wrapper just to stop the bleeding until we could find a sock to use as a cut glove. Couple days later it scabbed over and he was good as new.

I think this is a good opportunity for Spyderco to take advantage of a growing part of the market that hasn’t really seen any innovation yet! Not to beg but it would be toe-tally awesome if it was ready in time for next April first because it would make for a very festive holiday gift.

Good one 😂. I think the Pochi in CPM-Unobtanium could be the ideal candidate.

My friend Frank actually appeared on an episode of the hit game show “Family Fight” and he had a quick opportunity to explain his Toe knife.

It might be a good opportunity. I think Spyderco should dip their toe into the water on this one.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it was a request for a Spyderco version of something like this:

Anticipating insanely huge demand for this model, they might need to set up a whole new company named Spydertoe.

I think Spyderco could nail this market once they get their foot in the door.

I agree. They’d have some big shoes to fill. It could get sketchy but I think if they don’t get stumped they could stomp the competition.
