it would be cool, but i was just joking. that's all i'll say about it because shiny footprints and whatnot.
i was eating an oatmeal cookie with white chocolate chips and craisins when i read this, so i guess i agree.
This is an abomination.
Dark chocolate chips with pre toasted rolled oats, dried cherries and rum soaked raisins. Your welcome
I was thinking the ‘Big ***’, but the ‘Work Horse’ is more grown up
It’s a funny thing - I started buying Spyderco folding knives for work as they’re brilliant, but after acquiring a couple of Mules they have become my go-to for a plain edge blade. They are so durable, ergonomic, easy to clean, a pleasure to sharpen, the list is long. The only folder I always have with me now is my Caribbean Salt 2 SE as even though there are so many things about it that I don’t love it is frankly just brilliant at what it does.Cl1ff wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 7:18 pmI like the concept, and I’m already liking my Mule Team 2. I’ve started testing and it’s pretty promising, for my preferences and uses.
A bigger one would be neat, though, only as a production knife.
If nothing else, I think it would be an interesting addition to the fixed blade market if it was presented with all of the other Spyderco things (like SpyderEdge, Spy27, Mule Team handles, Boltaron sheaths with G-Clips, and good geometry).
I’m a big fan of Spyderco fixed blades and have often lamented their apparent lack of recognition and sometimes discontinuation.
One day, I want to make prototypes of some fixed blades I’ve designed “with Spyderco in mind” and maybe see where that takes the ideas (ideas = protos) that I found in my head.
This just means I want to see Spyderco’s fixed blades gain recognition because I hope they might be inclined to make more in response.
I guess that could be seen as a bit selfish, but my support for their fixed blades is entirely rooted in my genuine appreciation of their high performance.
It’s a big win, in my eyes, if Spyderco makes more fixed blades, to sum it up.
