That’s very interesting!

Am I reading too far into that letter? - “Spydercos CPM 15V family of Sprint Run knives is a landmark achievement in production knifemaking. No matter which model you choose, we are confident that it will serve you well and remain a highly collectible piece of Spyderco history.”

To me that seems to insinuate that there will be more models in CPM 15V than just the Manix 2 and BBB collab!

I’ll take a 15V Lil Native please and thank you!
I think maybe like the burnt orange Rex sprints. Could be all those models.
That’s what I would guess as well. I wonder if they’ll debut any more 15V models in the next Reveal? :cheap-sunglasses

I’ll patiently wait for the Native5 15V BBB Sprint.

“In addition to showcasing PM 15V blade steel, all the knives in this elite family will be further enhanced by a specialized heat-treating protocol developed by acclaimed custom knifemaker Shawn Houston.”

Given the success and popularity of K390 and Maxamet, CPM 15V looked suitable as another unique steel in that range for folks to enjoy.

Only when we’re using actual pocket frickin’ lasers :winking-tongue

Seriously, we’ve got to be stretching the corner of the envelope where mere humans can sharpen these steels with hobbyist to professional level tools.

So a Military in CPM 15V at some point and/or a Native Chief? Sounds like a plan!

Hoping it's true there's more 15V on the horizon. Still hoping to snag one of the Manix sprint after the initial frenzy calms down a bit. Really would like to try 15V, I'm a fan of K390 and Maxamet so 15V should be right up my alley also.

Native chief would be excellent! Would definitely prefer that over the manix. Love that backlock and long slicey blade.

So a 15V Military could be in the mix? That would be a Death Star for cardboard.

If we're voting, I'd like to try 15V in something smaller--I prefer ultra hard, low toughness steels in smaller blades. The upcoming Caly LW, for instance.

I'll take a manix lightweight in CPM 15V if and when available. Fingers crossed. I actually carry the lightweight Manix more often than the G10 version.

Looks like this knife is a real sales juggernaut!
Unless one falls in my lap, I'm tapping out as of now.

I legit have way too many knives already and they all cut things quite nicely (got rid of the clunkers ages ago), so as much as the novelty of a finely tuned HT in a super-high wear steel appeals, I just don't need the stress and expense of chasing another Sprint, FOMO be damned!

I'll be looking forward to the BBB designed knife though, whatever it may be... or a Para3, if the full-line 15V Sprint theory turns out to be true.

Good luck to all who are still in the chase, may your Holiday wishes of cutlery perfection be granted!!

Smokin' deal on 15V Manix 2's!!!!!!!

I just found a bunch for only $91.50.
Can you believe it?

They don't list a number where I can place a phone order.
Their address seems to be a cemetery in Salinas.

unfortunately the rain drops instantly rusted the blade and then when I went to open up a package with the blade the steel was so hard and brittle that the entire blade exploded into a fine dust

Tricky part is taking that dust and forging it back into a blade! :zany
