If you could add any three Spyderco knives from 1981 to 2022, what would they be?

I don’t have the mind to do all the thinking about which 3 would suit my needs best right now, so I’ll say the first ones that come to mind!

Dino bone Executive (if you’ve seen almost any of my posts you’d know why)

Spyker
I just recently missed out on a good deal for one of these!

The REX121 Sage 5 test knife that Sal apparently carried a little while ago.
I know it exists and I want it!
rex121 is the king of steel, but nature’s teeth have been cutting for hundreds of millions of years and counting

Ooohhh, I didn't know there was ever an orange Native 3. That would be a favorite of mine, too.

Can't help shoulda, coulda, woulda thinking but I try to stay positive and look forward to what Spyderco has in the pipeline for the future.

Dyad:

The guy in front of me in the checkout line at the local Army Surplus store had one in his hands. I tried throwing my wallet at him but he wouldn't budge. He let me fondle it, tho. Am patiently waiting for Sal's new compression lock version.

Caspian:

Would've really liked to try one of the blunt nose versions. Not likely to be in production again. Looks very useful for my purposes. I just picked up Swick 6 instead.

Sprig:

Completely missed out on this one. Shame on me.

Feeling pretty good about what I've had and have, but I'll always regret selling my Michael Walker, Persian, and not buying the Southfork.

3 in H1:

Whale Rescue Blade - I just missed getting one of these as I was getting into Spyderco and it's probably my only real regret. I know it's a weird choice but having a rustproof blade like this that can cut old fishing nets and stuff would be *chef's kiss*.

Caspian - After falling head over heels in love with the Swick concept I would now like the bigger version please.

Rock Salt - I strongly prefer machetes for most "hatchet" sort of tasks and anything vaguely machete-like in a rustproof steel would be one of my most-used knives.

Edit: I realized my original short post was really boring.

1. Spyderco Rock Salt (orange variant) - love everything from the rust proof steel to the orange handle.
Image

2.Hossom Forager (Woodlander too) - Say what you will this is a cool design and I have had good results with N690 steel.
Image

3. The Impala - this is also the knife I want to see Spyderco re-release in a super steel and orange (really any color) G-10. Still wish I had one in my collection now though.

Honorable Mention: Hundred Pacer - Wow, just wow.

STRETCH 2 FRN BLUE V-TOKU2/SUS410 C90FBLE2 - but basically are just dreaming of a Stretch 2 in K390

SPYDERCO LEAF STORM C128G - while I think my Techno is basically a better substitute for the Leaf Storm, this has always appealed to me and would love to see it tweaked and improved

AIR BY GAYLE BRADLEY C159GF - I simply love this knife and Im crying I never bought one new. My GB1 is my #1 knife and this would be a perfect companion. My only slight gripe with this and the GB1 is the handle material.

Edit - broken image links removed, that was a failure!!

I'm actually pretty content with my modest Spyderco folder collection, so what I'd love to acquire would be these three fixed-blade models:
  • Reverse
  • Temperance 2
  • Rock Salt
The frustrating thing is I've had the opportunity to purchase each of these models at various points through the years, before prices on the secondary market blew up... but the timing was always wrong (bills to pay, unexpected expenses, etc.), so I passed every time.

Edited to add:

I'd also love to have these three balisongs, which are currently illegal to own in Canada:
  • Janisong
  • Szabofly
  • Smallfly 2

Sorry I added the orange as a "I wish type of thing"

I missed out on the Hundred Pacer. I hesitated because it was a liner lock but I kind of agonize over missing out on that one. Beautiful profile. If it ever comes back as a back lock I'll buy one, maybe two.

Any 3 Spydercos 81 to 22? I have them all and would buy duplicates if I could:
- Spyderco Stuart Ackerman Sustain in 20CV
- Spyderco Province in 4V
- Spyderco Native Chief in S90V
