You’re all sneaky keeping the REC manix 2 to yourselves

I am sure all you cool kids know this but with RECs past PM2 the colors are called: Handle: OD Green / Blade: FDE (Flat Dark Earth) PVD.

Still on the fence for this one as it will be my go to for awhile. I never knew how random these exclusive were. I mean if I knew this was the last Manix 2 for a year then I would jump. If there are 2-3 more that will come out before the year end I would wait to see if there was something I liked better... Maybe a super deep Red Rex 45 or a Tan/Black K390... who knows.

If I could make a request, it would be the Coyote G-10 with black DLC 10v blade Manix 2. REC did this combo for the PM2 maybe they will bring it to the Manix 2. Just something about that combo is great to me.

EDIT: I emailed REC and they got right back to me. The Coyote/black DLC 10v will be made... just absolutely no time frame but good to hear.

this is the first exclusive that's affected my sleep. if i don't get one, i'd be just fine, but for some reason, i was dreaming they dropped it in the middle of the night a few days ago and i kept waking up to check. our minds play crazy tricks on us over dumb things sometimes.

I am guessing sooner than later once they see the 204p sell fast but that could be 3 months, 6 months, a year???? Who knows but it will be great.

I hate Canada’s knife laws regarding importing folders. I would love to jump on a bunch of exlusives but I cant afford having them confiscated. All the Canadian members here should rally a north of the border dealer to make an order. Blades Canada cough cough. I know, I know we dont have the same market as the USA with 1/10th the population but the knives would sell im sure.

man... last week it was this week, this week it was next week (i called a couple days ago), and today it's a couple of weeks? this one is driving me a little crazy. i've wanted them to make this one longer than i've wanted so many other knives.

I understand the feeling of wanting to know the specific drop date so you can plan out when to be at the ready to get lucky with one of these REC exclusives. The longer it takes to release the better for me so I can have more knife funds available. So many exclusives in the past few weeks that I just can't pass on.

I'm not into lanyards and beads but the Avocado one (REC Exclusive "Holy Guacamole" Series 3 EDC Micro Lanyard) at REC is pretty cool and goes well with the upcoming Manix2 Avocado!

definitely a lot all at once. i'm kind of glad i don't like the pm2 or shaman. it helps a lot when trying to avoid exclusives. it's been a busy few months for me anyway though.

I don't think it remotely looks the color of any avocado I've seen, but eh, it's catchier than 'earth tones'. Or 'High Dessert Chaparral'.

to me, this is a more tactical combo than all black. it matches camo colors currently in use and is earth tones. avocados just make me think of california, which has the exact opposite image of tough and tactical. and avocados aren't even these colors. it's just a weird choice. why avocados instead of multicam for marketing purposes?

i'm not a fan of the avocado thing, but i enjoy wordplay and sarcasm, so i like the dessert warrior. i do think they've taken it way too far making other models than the original though. to each their own, i guess.
