Might have to get this one. S90V Para 2 has been eluding me. Thanks DLT, keep 'em coming please. https://www.dlttrading.com/spyderco-par ... s90v-blade

Oh wow, that's hot.

I am really super happy with my purple/dlc/cruwear PM2 but I also really like S90V, but I know I don't actually *need* it but this color combo is so dang pretty...

Very attractive. I'm also very happy with my DLC/purp from DLT, but this is another eye catcher for sure. Don't have any S90V yet.

Dang, right when I thought we were starting to get away from the panzy colored scales. Great steel choice though!

That’s a very unique color combination, I like it but chuckle at the choice of coated s90v.

I agree, coated S90V is a bit odd. A steel made for working, with scales made for Instagram. I'm guessing we won't see much about this knife within a week after it drops. Straight to the safes it goes.

I was pretty excited when I saw PM2 and S90V. But then I saw the handle color and DLC… too bad not my thing. Now a dark green or brown We might be talking.

I mean lets be honest here. While people cite rust reduction and glare reduction as reasons for coating, most of these knives are coated purely for looks. No different than having a Tiffany Blue or Eggplant Purple scale. The coating enhances the overall look and makes it more desirable to the people who covet this look. They started coating liners for this reason too. It looks WAAAAY better than having a random stainless liner when everything else is black. And there are plenty of coated H1 knives, so it certainly isn't all about rust reduction.

So while I certainly appreciate the rust prevention aspect on steels like M4 and 52100, I don't see any negatives in coating S90V, H1, LC200N, MagnaCut, etc in order to achieve a certain look. I'd buy this Teal/DLC combo in any of my favorite Seki models.

The color isn’t my thing either but don’t be too critical, my wife loves the look of this and if she buys it, I’m cleared for another knife purchase!! 😂

I agree. My wife has the DLT PM2 in OD green and DLC S90V. The DLC isn’t necessary but it looks really good with the green. She uses her knives quite a bit but she also appreciates looks and in this case, color contrast.

Granted, DLC on S90V isn't what I would spec, but I've been wanting to try some S90V steel. Mebbe if I put my green/black camo scales on it...

I actually like this colour, it's a classic electric guitar finish and also very popular in watches right now. I just hate coated blades lol. No doubt they'll come out with the uncoated version, then a DLC/Satin Para 3 model down the road within the next 2 years

Man, I'm all tapped out on knife funds, and the PM2 isn't my jam, but dang that's nice. S90V is awesome stuff.

It would match my K390 Teal WharnDelica (blade swapped), and my new desklamp.

I have a lot of shirts that color too. One of my favorites.

It is a great steel for the PM2 if the color works for you.

DLC is porous so it can’t itself help with corrosion.

DLC holds oils in matrix and significantly limits the amount of exposed steel.
So it goes.
