ImageI think it’s time to close this weeks contest . We had less than ten entries and must say choosing was extremely difficult. I really like to see the contest grow with different newer entrants with great shots . So here is my runner up : JSumm’ Manix 2 laying in moss really popped the color scale .His wonderful assistant got his act together on this beautiful shot . Dan

ImageThe winner this week was a total surprise since the entrant has such a great collection of Manix knives this shot came out of left field . The upcoming C60 Ayoob has been getting a lot of post traffic so seeing the original was a treat . So winner this week goes to Apollo and hope to see more pics like many that posted to enter more pictures in the future . Thanks to all , Dan

Congrats Apollo! And thanks Dan!

That Ayoob is a really special model. If I didn't get on such a tear the last several months I wouldn't hesitate to pick that one up.

Pac Salt 2 LC200N

Nice photo. Not just in terms of a knife photo but also very atmospheric!
Looks sort of like a 1 second exposure, with the blurred receding water?

The Pacific Salt 2 handle color comes out looking more like a K390 Endura, which it obviously isn't. In seawater, that wouldn't end well!

Well thanks! It was taken on a Google Pixel 6. Previously to this photo I've used a Pixel 4a for all my photos here.

And yes the scales do look different. I used a Royal Blue RIT Dye. Came out more dark green, but in certain light has a blue sheen to it.
