Sounds like he is a real oldschool teacher then.
They need to be creative in that jungle :winking-tongue. The newbies on the other hand just turn on the i pad or tv and put on some headphones for themselves ,so only from this we already know he is one of the good guys! ( my best friends are teachers and i did not come up with that i pad thing they really have many collegues like that :flushed )

:') I'm a newbie, but I prefer to see a kid imagining something than him being fed up with 100% corporate-made fantasies, for sure.
Dan was too nice, now I don't know if the shot will be good enough to meet the hype ! :squinting-tongue

When your teaching, you need endurance, thats why you need a Native 5 in Maxamet.

Ahah, yes indeed the last month has been very full !
I'm now on holidays, I have 6 knives to finish (handle-making for now, but I'll use this time to make my first blades). IT's gonna be a good summer by my standards. Meaning I'm gonna go full-on knife making, finally !!!

This was a heck of a tough choice again but in the end I picked the two photos that made me want to run out and buy two knives that I passed on when they came out.

First this week goes to this awesome chef reflection.

Second is this woodland scene that looks like where I'd be most at home and makes me give that burlap micarta another look.

Great job with all the photos from everybody else that posted this week. The choice is always difficult.

This one is so special to me. It is my second spydie. And sinds i do not have my first one anymore its my oldest of my collection. And it is also thanks to this one that my passion for the Manix developed. :beaming-face

As you can see its seen good use over the years and its still alive and kicking for more.
But i did retire it from Edc rotation since its a relic of a time when people could use pointy things in public without people fainting all over :cheap-sunglasses :squinting-tongue

We have very good paramedics in town so I still carry mine . We need to compare dates , mine does not have the steel number by the hole , it is where it is normally found at base of blade . Will PM . :zany Dan
