I like lanyard attachment points whether it’s a hole or a pin, despite only using them infrequently. Much like my pocket knife itself and my other EDC items, it’s there just in case.

I don’t mind them as long as it doesn’t interfere with proper clip placement . MG2

I don't use lanyard holes, but I don't mind them, as long as they don't come with rattling lanyard tubes (I'm looking at you, Spydiechef).

I know it's easy to silence lanyard tube rattle with grease or thread locker, but on a knife costing more than $200, I wish I didn't have to.

I like the holes there whether I'm using them or not!

Me, when the knife comes with no lanyard hole:

Lanyard holes are useful on knives like the pm2 or larger. I like to attach a glow in the dark lanyard in case I drop it in the woods. Lanyard holes seem a bit unnecessary on smaller 3inch or shorter knives but I do not mind them. I thought that the lanyard hole/pocket clip combo on the native lightweight was tastefully done, but I admittedly have never used the lanyard hole on it.
Just one more knife...
