I FOUND MY CHAP!!!!

#1

Post by Josh Crutchley »

I thought it was gone for good when I lost it on vacation earlier in the year. I really thought I went through everything but somehow it was still overlooked. My wife was moving stuff around and noticed one of my sweaters had something in the pocket. It's crazy it was still in there, it was unloaded from the car when we got home and hung on a coat rack but somehow I never checked the pockets. I'm beyond amazed the Chap is awesome so I planned on buying another to replace it but now I don't need too.

I know that sinking feeling as well . Misplacing a knife can be frustrating once in awhile I’m not sure who it is ,but someone puts one of my knives in the clothes hamper. Regards MG2

You should really give the Chaparral a try. I doubt you'd be disappointed.

No, no you just barely console yourself with a Lil Native instead! ;)

I find my Chaparral and SE backlock Lil Native to both be incredibly good and they complement eachother very well. The SE lil Native is surprisingly slicey for its "overly thick blade stock."

BTW, Josh-- glad it turned up.

I am sure you know I was just kidding. ;)

I am not really entitled to talk about the Lil Native, never even held one.

Just by its specs though it seems not to be my kind of knife, right.

YAY!!! I had a similar experiance with a Delica disappearing. Bought a replacement, AND a backup in case I ever lost the replacement. A few months later the lost Delica showed back up. Now, a handful of Delicas!!!

Me too, lol 😆 But if one were to become available in SE, I might have to buy it.

Josh, my first reply got wiped out. Suffice it to say, I'm happy for you. I love when that happens. I lost a Ladybug last week that turned out was still in the pants I'd checked 8 times. It fell out when I went to throw the pants in the washer. Seems it got tucked up near the waistband in my zippered 5th pocket while the whole time I was searching in the bottom of that pocket.
