How about a CRUWEAR or Z-Wear Native 5?

After getting my hands on the Z-Wear Shaman, I’ve really come to enjoy both the no-hump spine design and especially the canvas micarta scales. The PM2 is already slated to get this treatment, and many of us are patiently waiting for it. But I’d like to try a Native 5, and what better spec to try it in that a current forum favorite.

I regret not getting the KC Native 5 Cru-wear exclusive when they came out. Either steel is fine, and brown micarta scales would be great.

I wanted a Cruwear Native in past but I now have a few knives with Cruwear and several Natives. So I think I'm good. I could still be enticed into another Native depending on configuration

I completely agree, but we know this steel will take a bit to make it to the lineup. It will show up in the Mule first. I am eager to try it! In the meantime, Cruwear or Z-wear makes me happy.

Me too! I did get the KC Para3 exclusive and wasn’t completely sold on the smooth G10 scales. I think I still prefer micarta over G10, and I think I’m leaning to both over textured G10. Maybe? Maybe.

Mine is a sleeper favorite. Love the linerless smooth G10 with Cruwear. Almost bought a spare. Would consider another CW N5. Patiently waiting for a Magnacut N5.

I'd buy a Crucarta native for the micarta. I have two cru-wear natives and the steel is not my top choice, but micarta would push me into a buy.

I so much prefer the lower weight of the linerless N5 that although I would love a version in either steel, liners would be a show-stopper for me.

Mini curcarta Shaman, yes please. Would be even cooler if it had the same style rounded scales as the Shaman.

Excellent idea. I'd be down for either steel. I'd prefer a micarta that isn't brown, but would buy one regardless.

It might need to have liners due to micarta not being quite as strong as G10. If they are necessary, it shouldn't require additional engineering/tooling, since the G10 version had full liners until recently.

I'm not well versed in material science or anything, but I've heard micarta is weaker than G10. I'm not sure in what way or by what amount, but since the Native is now a linerless design it might need additional testing or the return of steel liners.
