ManBug 3-D printed clip

#1

Post by SpydieFlicker »

I've seen talk about clips for manbug / ladybug, has anyone thought about printing one? I don't have a 3-d printer, but I've been thinking about a concept where there is a pin of plastic in the lanyard tube for placement, and a "clip" for the butt of the knife to keep it in place, and of course, a clip. My Idea would be non ambidextrous, because of the design. What do you guys think?

Easy option is using a P7 Suspension clip, attacked to the lanyard hole via some 2mm cord. The P7 would also serve as an exended pinky rest similar to a lanyard.

There have been some other DIY mods that looks really great:

For any research project, I highly recommend searching via Google Images. Much faster then regular google and turns up tons of ideas quickly. Google Image turned up all these and more for Spyderco Ladybug Pocket Clip.
