Cutting drywall with my Mantra 3.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Used the absolute worst tool for the job to try and work up a patina:
Come to think of it, there are likely worse objects to use—by comparison this little guy did a stellar job.

Used my Military to pry the film off a Casio AE1200 display for my first attempt at a reverse polarity mod.

Yes. Sort of:PeaceInOurTime wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 6:57 am
I had to Google that. Cool mod. Did you get it to work?
I am waiting for more film to come in the mail. Couldn't get the glue off the stock piece so I'm going to have to install a new one before I use it. I wanted to see how it'd look so I already put it back together.
I also removed nearly all the text from the case. Didn't go a very good job....left some scratch marks on the case then made them worse trying to blend them in with fine sandpaper. Oh well, for $15-20 I can afford to goof up my first try.

Can you activate the CDT on that model?

Used the wharncliffe Endura to cut the top off of a cat litter bucket so it'll fit inside my truck box.

Looks good! Never heard of honey cake.
Didn't get an action shot, but opened a few reams of paper for the copy machine. The Endura took a victory stance after a job well done :)

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I meant countdown timer. The W800H model can be modded to activate a CDT by removing a spec of solder from the back of the “movement”. It can be scraped off or de-soldered if you have a solder wick; I didn’t. Scraping worked.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Had to cut my five year old out of a soccer net with my ukpk. He managed to get his foot tangled in such a way that I couldn't get him free without cutting. He somehow created a snare with his foot. That boy.
