Wife & Son got me a Native 5

Yesterday was my Birthday and all day long my youngest boy was super excited to give me my present. After dinner, they busted out the Peach Pie, we don't do cake, lol, and they handed me a nice red Spyderco bag :spyder: . Inside was a Native 5 Spy27. Love it. The color is awesome and it cuts pie like nobody's business! :D

I have a feeling that this one will be my new EDC. Just seeing how excited they were to give me the knife makes it that much more awesome.

Always means more when it's a gift from a loved one. The native 5 is probably my favorite model, enjoy.

I'm also a little jealous about the pie.

Yes, it is, I like it a lot better this way. Not as pretty as a leaf blade but the saber grind is stout!

Man, that is so thoughtful of them!

I'd kill to have someone close to me who knew enough about knives to get me a Spyderco - seriously, best gift ever.

Also, that's a great little collection you've got there - solid lineup of knives! There's a lot of work you could get done between the three of them.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Late to the party, but still: Happy birthday! :)

The Native 5 is just one of the coolest looking Spydies for me, and yes, in this color even more so.
And just going by your pic: It seems to be the biggest of you "blues brothers"... ;)
