Q: Is Police Model Stainless SpyderEdge C07S still being produced? I don't even see it listed on Spyderco website anymore, and KnifeCenter, BladeHQ, etc don't have it in stock either.

I'm pretty sure we have all 3 configurations. The printed Catalog, which I have, shows 3 edges like the on line catalog that you referenced. I emailed staff, but they won't be in until Monday.

The Spyderco site, at least on my browser, only shows in stock options on the drop down menu for ordering. So you can only see combo edge stainless police because PE and SE are out of stock. For another example, I know they make a PE and SE Lil native comp lock, but it currently looks like they only make SE if you try to buy one from the SFO website. PE doesn't show up in the menu because they're out of stock.

I think it used to show all configurations in the drop down menu and out of stock options were just greyed out and couldn't be selected. If my memory isn't faulty, I wish they had kept it that way. Although it's entirely possible it's always been this way and I'm confusing the Spyderco website with a different one.

I checked our 2021 Price List and our master computer list. All three edge configurations of the stainless Police are still active products in our system. Like many popular products, availability ebbs and flows with demand. We have more of these on order from Japan, but currently, most of our supply has already been shipped to dealers and distributors. When we get more, they will be restocked on our website.

Bottom line: All three versions of this classic knife are still with us.

Hi All,

Bomb time. Sorry to say that the "Classic Police" will more than likely face a major change for the first time in 37 years. We are not sure if we will get any more of the older classic models in the future. More than likely, it will not be enough to even fill the back orders. As Mike said, almost all of our inventory has gone to dealers and distributors. When I know more, I'll share.

That's interesting. I don't mind losing the stainless "Classic Police" but it's currently the only Police model offered in Spyderedge. If the C07S is going away I wouldn't mind seeing a serrated option for the VG-10 Police 4 LW.

I’m glad that the SS Police is still in the lineup. It’s still in my top 10 favorite Spyderco designs. I own SS Police’s in all three edge configurations, but I especially like it in full SE.
