MT39P Logo Question

#1

Post by ykspydiefan »

Will the MT39P include the BBB logo?

On top of winning the Mule dream lottery and getting one, I sure would like one with the BBB logo.

Please.

BBB logo would be nice, but I'll get one (or more) regardless, if able.

Some of us on the forum have been accused of using atlatl to inhumanely fell mammoths in our younger years.

Maybe Spyderco could offer flint knapped knives. I'm guessing the spidey hole would be a challenge.
I want to primitive hunt at some point before I'm too old to do it... I stunk it up first time I tried throwing a dart.

If Spyderco did offer a flint knapped knife... Do you think BBB could do a high performance knap and put a Logo on it? :zany

Looks like arrow flights back in the bad old days of cedar shafts. With the advent of the force multiplying bow and the insane hunting crossbows, arrow shafts have improved to take out that bending on launch.

Never heard of a ‘atlatl’. But looking at the clip, seems very similar to our (Australian) ‘woomera’.

https://youtu.be/iAjgwfhtWD8

Older video, but shows a Woomera in use.

We're having some fun here, way off the topic "BBB Logo", but I see an intentional difference between the evolved American (North & South) atlatl and the Australian version of same tool. The atlatl dart (spear) is lighter and more flexible while the Aussie spear is stout and heavier. The Aztecs (atlatl name originates from them) used them to pierce the Spanish invaders amour, as well as hunting.
Can see advantages for both, think I would pick the lighter faster dart for small/medium game but the heavier one for something that may turn on me for his lunch..

Sorry, back to BBB Logo..
