Main thing that stands out to me is the MT32 steels. It's definitely my favorite of this year's three. I was surprised how well it compares to the others with much less molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium.
I suspect this is due to the high quality craftsmanship of the san mai process. I'd like to understand the alloy mixes a bit deeper to test performance aspects further. Just getting the ball rolling in case others have insight, opinions or data to add.
