Got the Z-wear and can do all the science in one hit which will be easier.

Battery acid is a good test for the future robot wars of 2050.
A sweaty gym shirt in a zip lock for 24 hours is a great test.

How about a drop of blood, if you're willing to go that far? I don't even know if it affects steel at all. I just know it's hard to get off of fabric.

Fabric like in what your clothes are made of. Apologies if I used a wrong word.

Okay then.
But, to the subject: does blood leave (permanent?) stains on steel if not wiped off? What say you, CSI watchers?

Save your blood… unless you are a vampire
use your morning urine to get the same results because or similar PH levels.
This is getting into weird territory.

Don't do it if you feel it's not right. There's no problem!

Re: In the name of mule science
If you're a knife guy, the question is not if you'll cut yourself, but when you will.
Wait for the next opportunity and capitalize on it.

Butcher for 20 years, don’t cut myself often.
Not hard to stick a pin in my finger and squeeze. Will do lemon juice first when I get some time.

Sigh - SAME DAY I make this post, I cut myself on a Benchmade. Gave it a lil spin as I picked it up... blade broke the detent just long enough to come out a quarter of an inch, made a 2 millimeter cut on my palm. Should I ship you the blood?

I'm not a watch guy, but if I were... I've admired enough of them to know that I would buy THAT Omega and be done. Perfection!

Re: In the name of mule science
For my food prep blue#2s and super blues, I get the blades good and hot under tap water and use yellow mustard on the carbon edge. Continue running spine under hot water for 5 min or so, with mustard on edge facing up, then rinse off mustard and dry. Gives the edge a cobalt-bluish color, often with a little red in there. The color stays a long time as long as subsequent cleanings are with cold water.
