Mule Giveaway Time! (MT23)

#1

Post by Xplorer »

Giveaway time! :D :D

Now that the handle and sheath "How-To" threads are finished I'm giving away the MT23 (CPM20CV) Mule I used for the tutorials. :)

:spyder: :spyder: A HUGE THANK YOU to Tarheelpwr for donating the stabilized buckeye/resin scale material for this project!! :spyder: :spyder:

Background:
Ultimately this project came about because Tarheelpwr contacted me and offered to send me some scale materials he decided he would not be using. In response to his kindness I offered to make him a Mule handle out of some of the materials, but he said he didn't want anything in return. So, to try to pay his kindness forward I decided I would add an MT23 that I had on hand, make a handle and a sheath for it and then we (Tarheelpwr and I) will give it away to someone here on the Spyderco Forum.

You've had a chance to see exactly how it was made, and now you have a chance to put it to work as your new fixed blade for free! :D

ENTRY RULES:
- Open to everyone.
- To enter post a 3 digit number between 000 and 999 on this thread before 12:00 AM PST Sun May 30th.
- The winning number will be drawn by the Colorado Lottery Pick 3 on Sunday May 30th (Midday drawing - first drawing of the day)
- Winner will be whomever is closest to the drawn numbers, over or under. In the event of a tie the winner will be the person who posted the winning number first.
- Shipping..I will cover the freight up to $50. I can ship to most countries with tracking and insurance for just under $50 so this should cover 95% of the possible winners, but I ask that if you win and you live outside of the US that you be willing to help cover any shipping expense over $50 if necessary.

What's included? - Exactly as shown in the pictures below...Mule 23 (CPM20CV), Custom stabilized buckeye/resin handle, Custom Holstex sheath, Spyderco G-Clip, G-clip mounting hardware.

I'm mostly a lurker, but I must thank you for the tutorial on how to make scales. The 20CV Mule is one of the two that I'm missing for a complete collection!
