Now I really want to print a set of glow in the dark scales.... Are y'all using upgraded nozzles for your glow in the dark filaments? I thought I read that most (all?) phosphorescent filaments we're filled with small hard particles that would quickly abrade brass nozzles, any truth to that? If so what upgraded nozzles do you use for abrasives?

I just used a cheap 0.2mm nozzle, but I think it is bored out to at least 0.3 or bigger after a few sets. Lol. I have not been happy with my results yet. Using Eryone3d filament and it is tough to get a good print. It glows real nice but even after drying it strings a lot and bed adhesion is poor compared to most other filaments.

FullScaler (who has an arrangement with Josh) printed me a set of mule scales in translucent green. Wow they are nice. The grip pattern is great, just the right amount of height differential to enjoy a secure but comfortable grip. Currently, hardware and final fitting is up to the recipient. I think my barrel connectors are a little fatter than the Halpern hardware, so I did a light ream of the holes with a 3/16 flat bottomed milling bit (just twisting it by hand), though a 3/16 drill bit would probably have done the same job. Then I used three 3/16 x .312 barrel connectors and six 4-40 x 1/4 button head screws to complete the job. Sweet. Thanks FullScaler! And thanks for the fast printing & shipping also. Got the scales in time for Christmas!

3/16 x .312 barrel connectors: FKP LT Connector 8510 (need 3, $1.67 each)
4-40 x 1/4 button head screws: Button Head Screw #4-40 x 1/4” (pack of 20, $2.79).

Sorry about that. Corrected. Nice job, may I add. I really like the depth of the pattern on the surface. It's just the right amount. I'd not want it any more shallow, or deeper.

Thanks, it took me a while to figure out the pattern. I will say if it wasn't for GTScotty making his first and proving to me it was possible in Fusion I probably wouldn't have made them.
