Well, I may not get a patch but I'll be in line for the 9:00 am release of the new MT! Looking forward to my second type of steel in the MT!

I've been involved since Jan 28, 2007. How about you?
Under my original name (JR in CT) I have been here since: Joined:Fri Nov 11, 2005 3:01 pm. Too bad I got locked out of that account and could not recover it. I didn’t post much back then, just learning and absorbing.

I apologize for being snide, but the "Boo Hoo" emogi in this context just pisses me off. I was not referring to forum join date, but to the date of my first post in the first thread on Bladeforums when Sal proposed the Mule Team concept.

I did not realize your level sensitivity when I posted the emoji. Also, this is the boo-hoo emoji 😭, mine was the shedding a tear emoji 😢 which is often used humorously/lightly.

I don't actually speak emoji, since I pre-date the PC, the internet, smartphones and text messaging. It just reminded me of a toddler down to the sniffles after throwing a screaming tantrum in WalMart because mommy wouldn't buy her a new toy.

Let's all remember that sometimes, intent and emotion can be challenging to convey on a forum (even with emojis).

Onward to the patch discussion... :D

Patches (and Mule Team stickers) cannot be purchased. They can only be earned through participation here in the Mule Team forum. We truly want to hear about your experiences with the Mule Team. We thought it might be fun to give a little incentive in the form of exclusive swag that cannot be purchased or through visiting us in SFO or at a show. We'll (just as we always do) continue to watch, read, and enjoy hearing about your experiences with this very unique project. There are more patches and stickers to be had. There might even be more up our sleeves, so with that in mind, continue sharing your experiences!

Well mine finally showed up! I love this forum, even if I only joined last year. There's so many amazing people here from all over the world that share a similar passion. I only wish I had found this place sooner. Thank you so much Kristi, Sal, and the rest of the Spyderco crew.

As far as I can tell, seems to just be a reward for people testing mules in meaningful ways and contributing to the discussion. So just keep doing what you're doing, I guess.

That’s is some pretty cool incentive to get out there and use your Mule.
